This site was made to give information to international students at University Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah. According to the rules and regulations of the Malaysian Immigration Department, all international students are required to have a valid Student Pass to study in Malaysia. The government agencies responsible are the Malaysian Immigration Department and the overseas Malaysian diplomatic missions (i.e. Malaysian High Commission) and Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) is the private body appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education to process the international student visa.

VISA is an official endorsement appended to a passport, permitting entry into travel within a particular country or region.

PASS is an official endorsement appended to a passport permitting the person to stay in a particular country within a particular approved period.
